I need helping opening an ares file??

i downloaded the sims on ares. its complete but when i try and open it, it says windows needs to know what program created it in order to open it. and idk!? it gave me the option of looking it up online but i dont know what to do from there? its a "RAR compressed archive file" anyone know how i can open it?
