How is sending prophhets to ppl is Gods way of keeping covenant intact?

John of Revelation was the last prophet. If there were prophets today the Bible would not be complete. We are not to add or take away from Gods word. All we need are the pages between the front cover and back cover of the Bible to know the history and future of mankind.
