How safe is living/flying in England?

As a person who has visited Canada, my sister and family live in Saskatchewan, and is English to the core, may I welcome you to our shores. As already said there are places to avoid, just as there are in Canada, but generally you're as safe here as anywhere in the civilised world. My sister and my brother in law, and members of their family, visit my parents on a yearly basis, they've never had any trouble flying and they've always gone home safe and sound. Whilst here try to enjoy yourself, rock music bars are always good to go to, you will be made welcome and once you've done that you will be a part of the family and looked after, not in the mafiosa way of things of course, but we accept everyone, unless they're looking for trouble. Come over and enjoy it. If you get to Newcastle-u-Lyme, Staffordshire, call in the Black Friar, you'll see what I mean.
