Does my crush like me or not?!?

one day he told me he loved me, but then he said ooh jkjk i like you, as a friend.. from then he kept sayin i love you. he stares at me a lot and flirt wits me. my friend asked him if he liked me, and he said noo. then like the next day his friend and him were walkin and all of the sudden his friend said "he loves you!" my crush kinda of looked down and blushed a little. he also talks more to other girls than to me. also he asked me out like 2 times but i think jokingly. oh yea and he's rly confident and popular tho... please help..! im rly confuused!
