Does anyone ever fantasize about being an actor in the 30/40/50s, but not now?

Sometimes I fantasize about being an old time actress in the 30s to 50s era. I think the movies from that time era were made so much better. When I think of most (not all) movies coming out around now, I think they lack the substance and cl that older movies possessed. When I think about acting in the older movies, it seems like so much fun. Even the actors from that era were more talented, clier, eccentric, more attractive, and just overall had the "it" factor that so many modern actors today lack such as great trademarks and personalities. I truly believe in this aspect, quality being overuled today's quantity. When I think about acting today, I don't think it'll be at all the same and I think with all the terrible movies coming out today, it'll be much more difficult being recognized as a serious actor. What are your thoughts?
