Can someone yze my horrible dream?

I dreamt there were these toerags arguing with one another. A fight ensued and one of them wound up pulling out the other's eye. It was horrible and gory, and the man screaming in pain woke me up out of the dream. Needless to say, my heart was racing and I didn't get back to sleep for about 15 minutes. I didn't watch anything violent before sleep. I don't understand why I would have this sort of dream... Any thoughts?
