4th gen Prelude CV joint, is it the same with accord or civic?

The CV joint is the part that connects the splined portion and the center shaft. The axle is the complete embly with 2 cv joints in them. The term cv is short for constant velosity. In the early days of FWD cars the cv joint could be replaced without buying the complete axle y. The prelude shaft is not interchangeable with any other car. The Jack shaft has the same fate as well and will not work with anything but a prelude.
